An Employee Cannot Create an Account

If you’ve set up create account on the Avanti ASSP and Avanti Go Sign-In and have an employee who cannot create their account, it’s hard to know where to start. Here, you’ll find everything you’ll need to know if an employee cannot create their account.

Important Information
This only applies if you’ve moved to the latest ASSP
.

Your employee is likely getting one of two messages. Reach out to them to find out which message they’re getting. You’ll also need to know their name or employee number and the information they’re entering to confirm their account.

We couldn’t confirm your identity

Is your employee getting this message when creating their account?

We couldn’t confirm your identity. If your info is correct, please reach out to your manager for assistance.

The first thing to do is to confirm they don’t already have an account. If they haven’t already created an account, you’ll also want to confirm the information matches what’s on their profile.

Step 1: Open the Employee Profile in the Avanti Desktop and select the employee.
By default, you can find this in Canadian Payroll >> Employee Profile.

Step 2: On the Personal tab, check to see if the Avanti User Id is blank.

  • If there’s a name, they already have an account. Ask the employee to sign in using that username along with their password.

  • If the Avanti User ID is blank, continue to Step 3.
